Nordic Walking is walking with specially designed poles that allow you to use up to 90% of all the muscles of your body in one simple-to-learn fitness activity. Nordic Walking has been the fastest growing fitness activity in Germany, Finland, and other European countries over the last 10 years. And it's fun to do!

Where will your poles take you today?
Jayah Paley of Adventure Buddies is an intrepid, adventurous woman who has taken the art of using poles for mobility to a new level.  She teaches both hiking and Nordic walking using poles.  She has created some fantastic instructional DVDs for both activities.  She made this youtube video, and it's one of the best instructions I've seen.  Thanks, Jayah!
